Sterilizers should be wiped down weekly by staff members along with a quarterly professional cleaning.
What is your warranty on equipment repair?
TRE QuixSilver offers a 90 day warranty on all repairs.
How will you know what parts you will need to repair my equipment?
All Equipment Repair Technicians have a general inventory that can accommodate most equipment in small quantities that is commonly found in the Central Sterile Processing Department as well as the Operating Room and the Labor and Delivery Department.
For larger repair projects we would determine, during the free evaluation, what parts will be needed for your project. Once the work has been approved, all parts would be ordered and a date would be scheduled to perform the necessary repairs.

Are you able to obtain parts for discontinued equipment?
Yes, in most cases we can have our in-house machine shop make many of the parts that can no longer be purchased for equipment that is either obsolete by the manufacturer or for which the original manufacturer no longer exists.
What is your process for evaluating and implementing repairs?
- Evaluation - To determine the types of equipment & parts that will be needed.
- Proposal - Submit a quote based on equipment needs.
- Approval of Repairs - Confirm repairs that the customer is approving and obtain a PO for work to be done.
- Corrective Repairs - Repair equipment to satisfactory condition and document in Med-Track.
- Preventative Maintenance - Determine frequency of service and budget.
