Does TRE Endoscopy 1 provide loaners for repairs that exceed 24 hours?
TRE Endoscopy 1 has made available over 100 flexible endoscopes for loan to customers sending in equipment for repair. Loaners are provided on a first come, first serve basis and are shipped within 24 hours of our receipt of the request. Every effort is made to send the same model requested, however, in rare cases where that is not feasible we communicate with our customers to identify a compatible device. TRE Endoscopy 1 can offer "on-site" loaners, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Does your company provide a detailed report including cost on each repair that accompanies the repaired item back to the customer?
When a repaired scope is returned, TRE Endoscopy 1 provides a service report including line item costs and detailed overall condition assessment.
Explain what process is performed to evaluate the condition of a flexible endoscope sent in for repair:
TRE Endoscopy 1 has always offered estimates "free of charge" as a service for our customers regardless of contract terms. Estimates are provided before any work is performed and repairs cannot be started until approval is received from the customer. A detailed estimate is provided for each scope which explains the condition upon receipt and any repairs needed to bring it back to OEM specifications. We also provide recommendations for performance problems which are not immediately needed, but which may cause failures if not addressed. Once a service history is established, all repairs performed previously are careful reviewed to identify recurring problems.
Additional Perks:
TRE Endoscopy 1 offers to perform, at no charge, a preventative maintenance inspection to evaluate the condition of all flexible scopes. We also offer on-site training of staff which can assist in eliminating repeated repairs due to improper handling. TRE Endoscopy 1 maintains a quality management system which has been independently certified to meet ISO 9001 standards. This certification can be confirmed on our registrar's website GlobalGROUP®. Our certification number is 35Q12740. TRE also manages a detailed inventory management system that allows us to track all repair materials from the receiving batch to each repair it was used in, and vice versa, so that they can be recalled if ever needed. While this level of tracking has been maintained for over 10 years, we have never had to issue any recall of defective material.
